An educational video centered around lithium valley
The Challenge
Imperial County was looking to educate people far and wide around with Lithium Valley is. It's a very complicated topic, with some strong opinions around it, so we wanted to make sure that we were very clear and fact-based with our explainer video...but of course you can't educate unless you engage, so we had to make sure the video felt as forward looking as the content.
The Solution
It can be easy to take a dense topic and go with an animated only approach, especially when discussing something like lithium valley that isn't product people use. However, it was important to us and the client we not leave the human element out of our educational piece, so we felt mixed media was the way to go so that we could best display statistics, geographies, history, populations, etc. in a way that felt cohesive, clear, and, dare we say, exciting.
