The Finer Points of Sound Design

One of the most forgotten about and overlooked components to making a great video is having fantastic sound design. So we’re here to show you how much of an impact sound design has on your video.

For instance when it comes to music, choosing the right song can really impact the mood and tone.

You can generate excitement and a sense of bewilderment with a fun song.

Or create suspense and anticipation for your product or service.

Or create an emotional piece that people can connect with.

When all else fails, you could always throw in some jams that get’s people’s feet moving.

Sound Effects

Another thing to consider is how much of a difference sound effects can make on your video. They can spice up an otherwise mundane scene or can call attention to a certain section of your video. To demonstrate this, let’s take a look at one of our animated projects without sound effects.

And here is that same clip after sound effects have been added.

Sound effects can also be used in live action videos to highlight graphics as they appear or to draw further attention to certain objects on screen.

Or you can try adding in sound effects to fill in long quiet stretches of your video.

It’s easy to get carried away because things are more fun with sound effects!

So pay close attention when it comes to sound design because even a small rubber ducky noise makes a difference!
