When an initial rollout doesn't go to plan, a video can strengthen a relaunch
The Challenge
ConnectWise has been a long term partner for Demo Duck but the challenge they brought with this video was pretty unique: they had rolled out a cool, new product, but the reception wasn't as great as hoped. So they wanted to acknowledge that fact, but also communicate enhancements had been made in a new, energetic spot.
The Solution
Look, I'd love to say we're all gym rats over here and immediately thought of filming in one for this video, but that wasn't exactly the case. Based on the brief, the content of the piece, and the brand, we had a ton of different concepts in mind, and pitched three of them to our pals at ConnectWise. As often happens, our favorite one (despite our aversion to working out) was selected, and from there we knew we wanted to represent the hard work the client team put into the new version of the product, make the visuals pop, and use the script, and on screen text, to acknowledge the initial roll out issues. What we finished with was an upbeat commercial video that says, "we heard you, and we worked hard to make the product better!"
